• App Groups: We use iOS App Groups to share data between the main app and the share extension, but this data never leaves your device
• Metadata: When we fetch webpage titles, this is done directly from your device to the website - we never see or store this information

Network Requests

The only network requests made by PaperLink are:

• Metadata Fetching: When you save a link, your device may request the webpage title directly from the source website to display a meaningful title in your history
• These requests are made directly from your device to the website - they don't go through our servers
• We don't log, store, or have access to these requests

Third-Party Services

PaperLink uses Apple's built-in frameworks:

• LinkPresentation: Apple's framework for fetching webpage metadata
• Core Data: Apple's framework for local data storage
• Share Extensions: Apple's framework for receiving shared content

These frameworks operate according to Apple's privacy policies and don't send data to PaperLink's developers.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's security features
• Data is encrypted when your device is locked (iOS automatic encryption)
• No data is transmitted over the internet to our servers

Children's Privacy

PaperLink is safe for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special privacy concerns for children under 13.
